Our ChoirMusic Program :: Our Choir :: Music Director 
Choir season runs annually from September to early June. Rehearsals are each Thursday evening from 7 PM to 8:30 PM. There are additional practice times during Christmas and Holy Week. If you're looking for variety, you won't be disappointed! We sing a wide variety of styles and genres each season, ranging from classic to modern, American spirituals, medieval chants, traditional English anthems, Elizabethan motets and modern hymnody. Each year the choir participates in the Norwich Area Choir Festival, an ecumenical evening of hymns and sacred anthems sung by more than 100 church choristers from every corner of the city. The choir room at Christ Episcopal Church is a relaxed space, providing solid ground for spiritual and musical growth. We strive to have fun as well as to learn, and choir membership is a wonderful, creative way to get to know the congregation and the community. No auditions are necessary, and additional members are always welcome to join the group or visit rehearsals on Thursday evenings. Call the church office at 860-887-4249 for more information.
